If you’ve already scheduled an appointment for facelift surgery with board-certified facial plastic surgeon Dr. Raymond Lee and are looking to learn a bit more about the procedure, this blog should be perfect for you. Unlike surgeons who dabble in a variety of procedures, Dr. Lee specializes in the facelift and offers a unique set of techniques to maximize results with minimal recovery. He calls this set of techniques FACEology.

On the day of your facelift surgery, also known as a rhytidectomy, you will enter an accredited surgical facility located in Newport Beach. From there, Dr. Lee and his certified anesthesiologist will place you under local anesthesia. You will feel nothing during the surgical procedure.

The process is a blend of several facelift techniques while using smaller incisions. Expect the surgery to take about three to four hours, depending on the various techniques and the scope of the surgery.
