What is the Profound RF?
This Profound RF is a clinically-proven* radiofrequency microneedling system. This breakthrough device re-builds elastin and collagen by carefully heating the skin to an exact temperature for a precise amount of time, leading to the creation of new elastin and collagen which repairs and tightens aging skin. The Profound RF system allows for real time temperature control and feedback to safely achieve the exact dermal temperature required to induce formation of new collagen and elastin.

What Should I Expect During the Procedure?
Profound® is a single treatment performed in the FACEOLOGYMD® office, usually in 45 minutes or less. Dr. Lee or his trained clinician will provide a local anesthetic to manage comfort. The system delivers precise temperatures to the deeper skin layers, exactly where the energy being delivered is most beneficial.
What Types of Results Should I Expect From the Procedure?
The Profound Lift is a FDA approved technologically advanced system allowing tightening of the lower face and neck. Although not a substitute for a facelift, it is an alternative option for a facelift that is minimally invasive and incision-less. Clinical studies show a 100% response rate for wrinkles and 95% for laxity at 6 months post procedure.
How Many Profound® Treatments Will I Need?
You will only need ONE treatment to transform your skin with Profound®! Optimum results are delivered in a single visit.
How Long Will the Results Last?

Due to the fact the skin will be re-generating it’s youthful properties, optimal results will typically require a timeline of at least 3-6 months after treatment. Dr. Lee can better assess this timeline for you during your consultation.
What Can I Expect During My Recovery?
You can expect to return to normal activities within a few days. You may experience minor redness, swelling or bruising resulting from treatment, but this can easily be covered with makeup as it will only last 4 to 5 days.
