At Faceology® MD, treatments span varying patient ages and complexity. A unifying goals at the center of it all: facial rejuvenation.

Dr. Lee, who established his practice in Orange County in 2006, provides surgical rejuvenation through procedures such as the Faceology Lift, a lower face and neck lift that is performed under local anesthesia. He has performed over 4,000 facial aesthetic surgeries, he said.
Nonsurgical treatment options, “from lasers to radio-frequency skin tightening to light therapy,” also are available through Faceology® MD’s medical spa services, Dr. Lee said.
Platelet-rich plasma (PRP) treatment for skin rejuvenation and for hair loss is a service that has gained popularity in the past year.

Dr. Raymond Lee and his practice Faceology® MD have been on this list before. Dr. Lee credits his popularity to 12 years spent developing a following of “loyal, happy patients.”
What makes a happy patient? “I think listening is really important,” says Dr. Lee. “My patients have a specific idea of what they want. I try to connect with them and hear what they say, so I can convey what I can do or can’t do, and there’s no miscommunication.”
Dr. Lee says he’s seeing more men and more younger patients coming into his office, seeking everything from the latest non-surgical treatments to full-on facial rejuvenation plastic surgeries. And they want minimal downtime and a natural look. “Nobody wants that pulled tight look that was popular a decade ago, now it’s more subtle. People want to retain their own natural characteristics but look more refreshed.”

Dr. Raymond Lee had a sense from a young age that he wanted to follow in his father’s footsteps and become a doctor.
“Growing up under his influence, I got exposed to medicine and patient care,” Lee said of his father, an OB/GYN. “I’ve always had a passion for art and found that I gravitated more to art aesthetics and I liked the technicalities of plastic surgery.”
Lee grew up in the Midwest and received his medical degree from the University of Illinois College of Medicine before taking his practice to Orange County in 2006. He has offices in Newport Beach and Beverly Hills.

“What brings people from across the nation is my facial rejuvenation procedures – such as facelifting – under local anesthesia,” he said. “It’s less invasive to the face and body and allows for easier recovery.”
Lee said he’s seen a shift in his clientele since he started.
“Five or 10 years ago, people were in their 70s. Now, I see more women in their 40s,” he said. “I think with social media they are seeing more exposure to plastic surgery online. … I think it’s more accepted, with people talking about plastic surgery, like the Kardashians – I think they draw a younger crowd.”
In addition to his practice, Lee has volunteered in the Dominican Republic and Cambodia, providing reconstructive surgery to children born with birth defects.

Dr. Raymond Lee doesn’t believe in traditional face-lifts.
As a double board-certified facial plastic surgeon, Lee has perfected the art of facial rejuvenation with his signature “FACEology LIFT,” which focuses on natural results, minimal sedation and easy recovery.
He has performed nearly 4,000 facial cosmetic procedures in his 10-year career and is known for his expertise on face rejuvenation under local anesthesia. But if patients are looking for more reassurance, it is noted that all of his surgeries are performed in an accredited ambulatory surgery center.
Lee believes in enhancing his patients’ natural beauty, and, in turn, they rave about his positive bedside manner and quality work.
Lee also volunteers his time performing facial reconstructive surgeries for children in Cambodia and the Dominican Republic.
