While undergoing FACEology Lift a local anesthetic will be used to numb the targeted area. Once the anesthesia takes effect, your doctor will make small incisions in the hairline and the natural borders of the ear.
Next, he will lift and tighten the underlying muscles of the superficial muscular aponeurotic system. Any excess skin in the area will be removed for a more even look. The result is a defined jaw and neck line.
The entire process lasts for anywhere between 1.5-2 hours. FACEology Lift is performed as an outpatient procedure, meaning you can return home soon after it is completed. In most cases, patients can leave within a few hours after the procedure and do not need to stay overnight in the hospital.
