What Is Latisse Used For?

Tired of having scanty lashes? Well, you don’t have to worry about that anymore because you have the option to utilize an FDA approved cosmetic treatment designed to help you get back your lush and long lashes. This treatment is known as Latisse.

Latisse is a chemical solution that contains a compound called bimatoprost. Typically used to reduce the progression of glaucoma, bimatoprost is used here to stimulate the growth of eyelashes.

Latisse is a non-invasive solution to lush eyelashes. The chemical solution in Latisse lengthens the hair growth cycle and shortens the rest cycle of the hair growth cycle of the eyelash follicle.

This enables the eyelash follicle to grow long and thick. Today, Latisse is now available only through prescription.

Using Latisse – Why Others Use It And Why You Should Too

Latisse Is Clinically Proven to Improve Eyelash Growth

Latisse is a proven solution to sparse and scanty lashes. Research shows that using Latisse for less than 16 weeks (4 months) can significantly increase the eyelash growth rate. In a study of 137 people using Latisse, it was observed that 78% of the users experienced close to double the fullness/volume of the lashes and an increase in the length of the lashes too.

Latisse Can Help Improve the Color of Your Lashes

Light lashes take away from the beauty of the eyes, while darker eyelashes add to the natural color of the eyes and naturally highlight the eyes. In addition to making eyelashes grow thicker and longer, Latisse also makes the lashes darker, giving contrast to your natural eye color.

Latisse Is Easy to Apply

Latisse comes in a package of 5 ml chemical solution and a pack of 140 applicators. Each applicator is a thin, brush-like object, on which a single drop of the Latisse is to be applied. The applicator should be moved from the inside of the upper eyelid to the outer area, on the line where the lashes grow. It takes less than a few seconds to apply Latisse, making it simple and quick.

Latisse Can Help Enhance Your Eyebrows Too

Latisse is not only helpful in improving your eyelash growth rate, but it can also help fill-in sparse eyebrows too. A single drop of Latisse can improve eyebrow growth and regeneration significantly.

Latisse Can Rectify the Results of Over-Tweezing

Over-tweezing and over threading of the eyelashes and eyebrows respectively, can permanently damage your hair follicles. Your lashes and brows may not grow back like they once were, leading to bald patches on your eyes. Latisse can treat these damaged follicles and stimulate the growth of new lashes and brows.

You Can Say Goodbye to Those Fake Eyelashes

Many women use false lashes to add layers to their natural eyelashes. While you can still use false lashes if you choose to, post-treatment, you won’t need to use them to add volume to your lashes. With Latisse, you will have natural lashes that are luscious, strong, and look better than false lashes ever will.
