Forehead surgery, also known as a brow lift, is an outpatient surgical procedure that lifts the eyebrows to a higher position. The most common form of this facial surgery is the endoscopic lift, preferred primarily for its minimal post-surgical marks.
Board-certified facial plastic surgeon Dr. Raymond Lee, however, has developed a less-invasive technique. His temporal, or lateral, forehead lift is a 40-minute procedure incorporating a small incision hidden behind the temple, inside the hairline, where the corners of the brow are lifted.
This technique allows for precise access to the tissue, which leads to effective lifting and a more natural look overall.
