To begin, your surgeon will make a small incision above the temple on the forehead. He will insert a tiny endoscope, a thin tube similar to a wire that has a camera at one end of it, to get a better view of the surgical site.

Assessment and Closing Up the Incisions

When the camera captures a clear image of what’s underneath the forehead, the image will appear on a large screen to give the doctor and his team the best view while performing the procedure. With the help of this picture, your doctor can perform the procedure underneath a small flap of skin where the incision was made.

The doctor will then make a small incision below the eyebrows and remove or loosen the muscles that will help prevent any further sagging of the brow. Your surgeon will remove some of the excess skin and stretch what is remaining upwards to eliminate the lines, folds, and wrinkles on the forehead. After the skin is stretched, your surgeon will close the incision with sutures.
